ANFIN Online allows you to access your accounts and perform transactions 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  ANFIN Online enables you to:

  • View account balances, transaction history and eStatements

  • Transfer funds to own and external accounts

  • Make BPAY payments

  • Upload a cemtex (ABA) payment files

Savings and Transactional Accounts

ANFIN provides Savings and Transactional accounts to assist in the management of your day to day transactional requirements.  ANFIN does not charge any account keeping fees.

You can manage transactions through:

  • ANFIN Online

  • Set up periodical payments;

  • Cheque facilities; and

  • Over the counter deposits at your local Post Office or National Australia Bank.

ANFIN Overdrafts are available to approved Diocesan entities to assist in managing your working capital requirements. Overdraft accounts can be structured to meet your specific needs. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.

Online Giving

For those amongst our congregations who wish to continue to support their local parish, there are several payment options available to enable the continuity of that support.

ParishDirect

Allows parishioners to make regular contributions to their parish community through a convenient and secure electronic funds transfer (EFT) system from any financial institution account.   Contributions can be made weekly, fortnightly or monthly, and can be quickly and easily adjusted by contacting ANFIN.

Disclosure Notice

We require that you are aware of and confirm your understanding of the nature of a contribution of funds to ANFIN before you invest with us. 

Anglican Financial Services (ANFIN) is a trading name of The Corporation of the Synod of the Diocese of Brisbane (“The Corporation”). An investment with ANFIN is a loan to the Corporation. 

It is intended that investments with ANFIN are made for the primary purpose of supporting the charitable purposes and mission of the Anglican Church Southern Queensland. 

ANFIN’s investment products and financial returns are not intended to comparable to other investments issued by banks or other regulated issuers. 

ANFIN is NOT prudentially supervised by the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA). An investment with ANFIN is not afforded the same regulatory protection applying to APRA supervised banks.  ANFIN’s investment products have not been examined or approved by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC). 

ANFIN is not subject to the normal Corporations Act requirements to have a disclosure document or Product Disclosure Statement and be registered or have a trust deed under the Corporations Act. 

An Investment with ANFIN is not secured, but repayment is supported by the underlying investments made by ANFIN. Our liability to investors is strictly limited to the assets of the Corporation. 

Contributors incurring a loss of capital from an investment with ANFIN are not subject to any regulatory protection. 

Investments with ANFIN do not obtain benefit of the depositor protection provisions of the Banking Act. Entities and individuals investing with Anglican Financial Services will not have the right to priority of repayment that is conferred on depositors by Section 13A of the Banking Act. 

Investments with ANFIN are not covered by the Financial Claims Scheme. 

Investor Information

Online  Transfers 

If your online transfer to a non-ANFIN account is urgent, please ensure that you complete your transaction for overnight processing, prior to 1.30pm (AEST), Monday to Friday, excluding Australian national public holidays. Transfers made after 1.30pm (AEST) will be processed on the next working day. Please note that transfers to some smaller financial institutions may require up to two working days to be processed. 

Easy Access Investment 

Interest rates may vary without notice. Interest is paid on daily balances at the end of each calendar quarter. 

Term Investment 

The interest rate is fixed for the term of the investment. We may agree to early repayment of a term investment if your circumstances have changed - please contact our customer service team to discuss. Notices of maturity of investments are sent to investors prior to maturity. Unless instructed otherwise, we will renew the investment for a similar period on terms and conditions then applicable.
